About Me
- Iain Kennedy
- I joined the Australian Army as an Apprentice in 1980. After four years I qualified as an Electronics Tradesman and Electronics Technician (Radio Communications). During my 20 years as a technician in the Army I was posted throughout the country and spent some time overseas in Malaysia, Singapore and Hawaii. I was also employed as an Electronics Instructor for 6 years and a Fleet Manager for 18 months and gained the qualifications of Associate Diploma in Engineering (Maintenance) - Electronics and Certificate 4 Assessment & Workplace Training. At the end of my 20 years I took 6 months long service leave to take up a position as a Training Consultant with a Canberra based company contracted to Defence for 18 months. Now living north of Brisbane in Morayfield. Married to Judy, no kids. I work from home and started my own IT business in Dec 2000.
